CUT IT DOWN

Two trees cut down in two weeks (one at Granny and Papaw's and one at Gramma Nanny's) =
Liam's new favorite thing to say, "CUT IT DOWN." He points to any and every tree and says, "CUT IT DOWN." Naturally, he likes the trucks that come thereafter. Here's Liam on his new tree seat with Charlie and Natalie. He sat there for twenty minutes before I got him to want to get off himself!

Getting Geared up for Pirate Ship!



A few Saturdays ago (well, Aug 20th), I watched Ethan and Caleb all day. We couldn't have had a better day together. We had breakfast, drove in a storm to Uncle Sean's while watching Lion King, went to Pier Discovery and roamed around a pirate ship, had lunch at GG's, then we went to Organ Piper Pizza. Heide and Luke met us there. It was a great fun day. Caleb kept saying, "I had a good day." I concur.

Prior to getting pizza, we gave Liam his first haircut. He didn't cry at all and pretty much just sat there (granted, it was immediately after naptime. ha).

August 7th 2011 was Liam's first boat ride with Papa Kott, Gramma Colleen, and Alyssa. Of course Mom and Dad were on deck (as it were) as well. Liam enjoyed the swells from waves, all the airplanes overhead, and pretty much the entire experience. He is holding onto his juice box for dear life because Mom was close by and he knows he only gets Milk or Water from her! It is so bad that now, he won't take cups from me when we're out somewhere b/c he doesn't want what I'm offering! Smart boy.

Need I say More?

We were up north for an extended weekend. We had great weather and enjoyed all the up north activities, except bonfires due to the excessive heat dome we're under. We went 4-wheelin' (of course), to the lake a few times, pool party on the deck. Papa, Gramma, and Claire came up for a night. The cuddlin' cousins had a blast together. Albeit, they were so over me snapping pictures (eventually).

Per yearly tradition, we frolic'd on July 16th. The parade was great fun, candy galore! The bbq at Grams house was awesome as well. Liam was lasizefaire towards his first fireworks, ever. But he did learn, oooohhhhh, ahhhhhh. So, that was is big bang! -ha.
