We started the weekend off right, with Breakfast Saturday morning with Auntie Danielle, Uncle Scott, Ethan, Caleb, GG, Liam and myself. Granny showed up as well. Thereafter we visited with Auntie Mary, Nanny Godmum, Ellie, and Dominik. Next up, Granny and Papaw's house to visit with them and Uncle Beef and Uncle Jacob. Sunday we woke up and went to the Sports Show with the Schutten's. We bumped into a hungover cousin wandering around, skill drunk perhaps?

It was fun, despite not catching any fish! Sunday dinner at Gramma and Grandpa Schuttens with Auntie Sheena, Claire, Uncle Fresh and Auntie Jamie, and Auntie Danielle, Uncle Scott, Ethan, and Caleb. It was an adventurous weekend, indeed.

Yes, our first photo shoot at JC Penny's (mid-January) was an epic failure. Liam wasn't a happy camper as he was coming down with a cold (as posting below describes). You can see from his "thoughts" captured above, he was unwilling to cooperate. We haven't spent much time learning new words from his Big Words for Little People book - only Privacy, Patience, Stupendous, & Superb. Now I see we need to focus on Cooperate!

Blog, Oh, Blog - you've missed me, as I have you.

An accident, or as I say - an incident - occurred January 18th involving, myself, Liam, no salted roadways, and black ice. That's all I have to say about that. Then, BANG! (not like said incident), I had the flu for the first time in years. After puking and recovering, Liam came down with the poo flu. Yeah, that's all I have to say about that. Next came the ear infection accompanied by numerous molars. And I believe that pretty much sums up the last 8ish weeks. But, guess who's back? Back Again.
Caleb's second birthday party at the Big Backyard was awesome, as usual. Everyone had a brilliantly fun time. This was weeks ago (January 29th), but the memories are still vivldly displayed in my melon when I think of it. - ha. In all seriousness, It was great fun.
I suspect being the smart blog you are (har har), you discovered the pictures go from most recent to most historical. Cousin Brody came over to play with Liam on Sunday.

We went to visit Heide and Luke today. Liam was living la vida loca with all the special treats from Heide. His shirt sported a ring of wet with all the juice/spit he keep growling out from slurp sucking the sippy so much! The boys were real cute together sharing their food and toys!

Liam's first birthday party was a huge success. Everyone had a good time, especially Liam. He was a delightful host and graciously greeted everyone while continuing his Birthday Show. He busted out his sweet dance moves when we sang him Happy Birthday! Overall, aside from hitting the curb on the way there and possibly messing up my Subaru, the entire day was perfect!

Tuesday morning started with a road trip to Mount Pleasant to visit Brie and Scarlett. She is so cute and little, makes me think back only to not remember Liam being that "little". He enjoyed screaming and hitting the sleeping baby. Her momma wasn't so amused, however...at least after the umpteenth time.

When we arrived home at five-ish we hung out and then went to Rocky Rocco's. Liam tore up the salad bar vegetables. Thereafter we went over to Matt and Val's to visit with them and Brody. Matt showed Liam is awesome new sled for Brody. It was cold so only a few laps around the yard, but Liam was giggling and having a blast!

We had lunch at the Olive Garden prior to hitting up the airport to welcome Brie and

Scarlett to Milwaukee. It was delicious as usual and surprisingly our service was spectacular. I have to stop eating like this! John was also with us at lunch but MK owes me a coffee for not posting the picture of those two! - ha.
